Dating to circa 1900, this Vacheron Constantin pocket watch is a particularly elegant expression of the maisons classical Geneva watchmaking. Housed in a 45mm 18k yellow gold case, it reflects a period when refinement was achieved through proportion, typography, and finishing rather than ornament for its own sake.
The dial is especially compelling. Gold-colored Breguet numerals with black outlines give the silver surface warmth and illustrated character, while the beautifully shaped halberd hands introduce a sharper, almost heraldic counterpoint. Together, they create a combination that feels both formal and unusually expressive, with the richness of the gold standing out crisply against the restrained dial.
Manually wound and wonderfully pure in conception, this is the sort of early Vacheron Constantin that reminds us how much visual identity can be achieved with very little. When a watch is purchased, our watchmaker will perform a thorough inspection of the movement and perform a number of tests to ensure the watch is functioning in top condition before shipping. This process can take 7-10 business days.
Once your watch is ready, watches shipped within the United States are sent via insured FedEx Overnight and will arrive the next day. We will send over tracking information once the watch ships.
International shipping can take a number of days considering customs and travel. Straps made from exotic materials banned for import will be removed from the watch prior to shipping.
We know it can be difficult be completely certainly that a watch's condition, size or shape is what you are looking for.
We provide a 5 day inspection period from delivery so that you may receive the watch and decide if it is right for you.
This is not a trial period; our watches are well documented and any wear or damage will be deducted from the return amount.
The Keystone offers a one-year warranty covering all mechanical aspects of the watch. This includes abnormal time keeping relative to the watches age, battery replacements and general mechanical issues inside the watch. Many of the watches we sell are vintage and thus may gain or lose more time than modern specifications. We reserve the right to use our discretion and experience to determine acceptable time keeping for vintage watches.
