The Rolex Submariner is an icon in the vintage watch world; nearly every vintage Rolex collector has at least one. In the beginning, the Submariner was a feat in engineering that paved the way for many other sport watches from various brands.

This particular Submariner, is a reference 5513 from 1967. The depth rating on the dial is notable as it lists the meter depth rating before the feet, 200m/660ft. Most of the dials on these watches were produced with feet listed first because the feet listing is a higher number, making it look like a more impressive depth. This is a small, but important feature that makes this watch a special additional to your collection.

The condition on this watch is also exceptional. With a clear bevel on the lugs, nice, crisp case, and original factory finish, this watch shows no signs of over-polishing or any polishing at all.
