This incredible Patek Philippe 2526 was originally retailed by Serpico Y Liano, a well known Rolex dealer in Caracas, Venezuela and features the retailers stamp. If that is not impressive enough, the watch is inscribed with the name "Contralmirante Ricardo Sosa Rios," translated to Admiral Ricardo Sosa Rios. Admiral Ricardo Sosa Rios (often with the last name inverted to Rios Sosa) was an Admiral with an illustrious career in the Venezuelan Navy. Sosa Rios "was a key player in the actions that led to the fall of the dictatorship of General Marcos Perez Jimenez in 1958 and at the beginning of the formation of a democratic government."

An excerpt from About the Author in his book Swell: 

Ricardo Rios Sosa was born in Caracas on July 1, 1913 and very young entered the ranks of the Navy of Venezuela. At 16, he received his law Midshipman, serving on various ships until 1942 when he retired to civilian life. Over the next few years he worked as director of the Nautical School and started in broadcasting station Ondas del Lago, becoming its director. In 1947 he rejoined the Navy and begins an upstroke occupying the most important positions in the organization, such as the Fleet Commander, Chief of Naval and finally, General Commander of the Navy, showing the degree of Admiral. 
Rios Sosa was a key player in the actions that led to the fall of the dictatorship of General Marcos Perez Jimenez in 1958 and at the beginning of the formation of a democratic government. He was also a major player in the defense of the popularly elected government on December 7, 1958, always maintaining a republican institutions attached to the position. 
During the period in which he guided the destinies of the Navy (1962-1964), the naval organization experienced a development not seen in all areas of their material needs. But the main legacy of Admiral Ricardo Rios Sosa was the example he passed on to future generations, a professional naval officer, a tireless worker for the Navy, honest foolproof, straight and fair in dealing with superiors and subordinates and respectful of Constitution and laws of the Republic. 
His book swell, is the personal experience of a naval leader who contributes significantly to the formation of democratic institutions and finally looks like civilian leaders trample on legal system is supposed keeps them as leaders of the nation, to satisfy political interests subordinates.
