The Monaco is one of Heuer's most iconic vintage watches available. Released in 1969, it was among the first automatic chronographs to hit the market. Heuer recognized the rising popularity of Formula One racing and designed the Monaco with that market in mind. The watch gained popularity after Steve Mcqueen wore it while playing a race car driver in the 1971 film Le Mans, earning it the nickname the "McQueen."
